Kayseri Vocational School was founded in 1975 under the management of the Ministry of Education and in 1981 it was transferred to Erciyes University. This school had two departments, Technical Programmes Department and Economics and Administrative Programmes Department. In the 2002-2003 Academic Year, Economics and Administrative Programmes Department became a separate school and it started education in the 2003-2004 Academic Year. In the 2004-2005 academic year, the name of the school has been changed to Izzet Bayraktar Vocational School of Social Sciences, because charitable businessman Izzet BAYRAKTAR has built this school and it was financed by him. Since 2006-2007 academic year, education has taken place in this new building.
Our school has about 1200 students, 1 professor, 2 associate professors, 8 assistant professors, 9 lecturers and 4 instructors and it provides an undergraduate education for 2 years.
